Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your personal information. When you click an outbound product link, we log the click in a way that is designed to be pseudonymous — without storing your IP address, name, or email.

What we collect

• Outbound link clicks: when you click a product link, it passes through our /go redirect so we can measure which content is useful. We record the link, which article it came from, the destination, and a salted, daily-rotating pseudonymous token derived from your request. This token is not reversible to you and changes every day.
• Account information (only if you create one): if you sign up for a paid tier, our identity provider stores your email address so you can log in.
• Purchases (only if you buy): the ebook and any paid product are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
• Standard server logs: like most websites, our servers may briefly record technical request data for security and reliability.

What we deliberately do NOT store

Our outbound-click log is built to avoid personal data on purpose: your raw IP address and browser user-agent are never written down. They are combined with a secret salt and the current date into a one-way hash, so clicks can be counted without identifying you, and the link between days is broken every 24 hours.

Cookies and third parties

When you click an outbound product link, the merchant or affiliate network you land on may set its own cookies to attribute a possible sale. Those cookies are governed by that company’s privacy policy, not ours.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site: a payment processor (Stripe) for purchases, an identity provider for optional accounts, and the affiliate networks that power outbound links. Each handles data under its own policy.

How we use information

• To understand which articles and products are genuinely helpful, in aggregate.
• To provide accounts and deliver purchases you have made.
• To keep the site secure and working.

Your choices

• You can browse without clicking any affiliate links.
• You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings.
• If you have an account or have made a purchase, you can contact us to request access to or deletion of your information.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
